Working on my “writing project”
Taking this advanced technical writing and research class
Taking communication theories class
Hoping to complete by the end of this semester
Non-academically:
Interested in literatures in general, especially reading translated Japanese classics in
English and imagine what definition/words were used originally in Japanese to describe
emotions.
Love listening different kinds of music. Recently stupefied by some gypsies music.
Professionally:
Translate documents into Japanese/English to automotive related businesses. Mostly for
Japanese companies.
Interpret meetings between suppliers, lawyers, or customers for engineers. Used to go to
local courts to translate for engineers for minor cases, such as DUI. The most challenging
and fun type of job was the court cases.
Reason and expectation to this class
In order to have clear view on finishing my writing project, this class will be very helpful.
Dr. Ann Blakeslee recommended me.
