CraigJThis is Craig's 484 page. I am in my senior year at EMU pursuing a major in written communications and a minor in journalism. My major is written communications with a concentration in professional writing. I want to write for a publication. Probably a magazine or newspaper. I currently write for the Entertainment section of the Eastern Echo. What would it mean to me to be professional? I would have to be confident about myself and let everyone know that I wasn't going to screw anything up. Is being professional an act? It is an act because you have to act a certain way in a work enviroment. You act differently at home and around your friends than you would in an environment where you are expected to act professionally. |
