JessicaBTechnical Editing What does editing mean to me? Editing to me, means to fix a piece of writing. A piece of writing can always be improved. Editing is a tool used to improve the piece of writing. What experience do I have with it? I have had a few classes where I needed to edit certain things like newspaper articles and also essays. I have had to edit my own work and other peoples work to. What does technical editing mean? And how will this be different from what I understand editing to be at this point? Technical editing to me means to edit a piece of work that is going to be useful to someone. Which is pretty much any type of work. I would think of it being more of editing a newspaper article, as opposed to editing a book or something of this sort. A list of areas that I have knowledge in. - Certain styles of writing, like MLA. - Newspaper editing. - Editing to fix grammatical errors and sentence errors. - Fixing a whole paper, editing. |
