How to Upload Your Documents

Getting your files into the wiki involves two basic processes:
  1. Creating a Link for the File, and
  2. Uploading the File

Creating the Link

Like making a new page in the wiki, the first thing to Attach a file to a wiki page is to create a link. Like creating a new page, the first key is the brackets that create a link, and the second is the key word, Attach followed by a colon, and then the name of the file, complete with it's extension (.doc, .jpg, .pdf, etc.).
  1. Cick "Edit."
  2. Type the new link, like so: [[Attach:filename.ext]] , but changing the real filename and extension, for example to [[Attach:Steves_Resume.doc]]
  3. Click "Save" at the bottom of the page.

Uploading the File

Once you have created a link, if you look at the page you will see a small triangle beside the name, like when you create a new page there is a small question mark, until you actually put something on the page. For the Attach link, the triangle goes away when the file has been uploaded.
  1. Cick the link for the file or the triangle
  2. Up comes the "upload page". Click on the "Browse" button to locate the file you want to upload. Once you select a file, the "path" to that file is added to the top box beside the word "Browse."
  3. If you want to change the name of the file
