ListOfGenresList of tasks that must be completed for the day Every day, one of the managers compiles a list of tasks that must be completed. These include simple instructions written in a list format that must be initialed for whatever task one may do. Complaint Notices In the back room their is a bulleting board above the mini fridge. On this bulletin board are hand written complaints by different managers. They are very short and to the point, sometimes they are a page long. Their are never any "good job" notes, just complaints about what you are doing wrong that make you feel like crap. At the end of every complaint note, they write that if you do not obey you will be written up, or fired. All of these notes usually begin with "Don't Do..." followed by a paragraph of words. Request Time Off Book This is a binder that is stuffed with several notes written by the employees that have to do with taking time off. Graffiti There are several hidden areas that have graffiti expressing hatred towards the store. These include words that express what the employees are feeling. These are not happy words either. Sometimes you will find random funny notes written on the wall that have nothing to do with the job itself. These are just fragments of thoughts that some people wrote on the walls. Cashier Complaints Mistakes that past cashiers have done (taking bad checks, taking a credit card wrong, etc.) are photocopied and stuck on the monitors of each register. These documents are either receipts with the error highlighted, or checks with the error highlighted. The cashier that may have performed this mistake is not kept hidden. Their name is usually still visible on the receipt, or their ID number is visible on the check. If I have to run register, my name can be found on each receipt, and my ID can be found on every check. |
