What is Writing?
Writing is the combined mental and physical process of putting thoughts to a readable medium. Whether the thoughts are whole or fragmented is a decision completely up to the Author. However, this is the simple answer to the question above. The long, drawn out version is thus: Writing is a process born of the mind, edited by self-censorship, and then transferred to paper only to be edited until only about one-tenth of the original thought is still in place. The hope of all Authors is that the one-tenth still on paper is still comprehensible, so that the ideas first put forth by the Author can be known and understood by the general populace.

What would Technical Writing be?
Technical Writing is Writing that specifically states or describes a process which needs to be put into action by others. This means that the Technical Writing needs to be as clear and concise as possible.
