Overview: The purpose of this memo is to explain the changes I made in my Forklift memo. The Forklift Memo was intended to help the supervisor make the best choice possible on which forklift to purchase. This Process Documentation Memo will explain why I arranged information the way I did for the supervisor.

In my first memo, I wrote out all of the information in a list. My first memo was closer to being like a table, but I changed it because I thought it should be in paragraph form. I realized that it was much more difficult to understand, so my third memo went back to being in a table format. I compared and contrasted information about the forklifts in a way that would be easier to understand. One concept I learned was that since I may not know what information will help them make their decision, it would be best to give them all the information I can, including things that may seem trivial to me such as forklift color. My last draft was the easiest to understand because it was in a table format that allowed the supervisor to easily compare different aspects of each choice.
