PDMThings that have changed throughout memo drafts
--- I struggled a lot with how much personal information to include. I still kind of am. In my very first draft I included a lot of personal information. By this I mean info that gives everyone an idea of who I am, my personality, sense of humor etc.. I took a lot of it out in the second draft because my impression of how the memo was supposed to be changed. I looked at it as more of a strictly technical communication centered memo, blah, blah, blah. This was too dry and boring. In my third and fourth drafts of this memo I put a little of the personality stuff back in. I think that in our memos it is important to express our experience and knowledge in technical communication, but we should give each other a peak at who we are individually as well. This is the only way to get to know one another well enough to learn from one another in my opinion. |
