I've worked for an insurance agency for the past four years. Often times I have to help train new co-workers. Most of our work in done on the computer using various insurance programs. I have to explain all the little steps and nuances of these programs. Pretty boring stuff. It's hard to explain things how to use these programs to someone who isn't familiar with them. You get so used to doing it yourself and don't know how to verbalize it to others. I find it works best to let the person actually do it themselves while I sit beside them and give them directions.
