AnotherConversationThis conversation happened at the comic shop. It's probably not the best conversation to dissect in this way, but it was one of the craziest things I've heard in a long time. I felt like it could have been scripted. Owner: Sir, can I take your beverage to the front for you? We have a no food and drink policy in the store. Customer: Oh...well, no. I'll just leave, I guess...I won't patronize your business.SUPPORT Owner: Ok, have a great day then, take care! Customer: Excuse me, your name is? Owner: Bye, have a nice day. (smile and waves) Customer: I won't be writing anything nice about this place. It's a wonder you keep any customers at all, with an attitude like that. CLAIM Owner: Sir, most people don't have a problem leaving their drinks at the door. COUNTER CLAIM Regular Customer: There are two signs by the front door that clearly say no food or drink allowed in the store. If you can't read, what are you doing in a bookstore? COUNTER SUPPORT Customer: Excuse me, your name is? Regular: My name's Rob...I don't work here. You can write about me if you want.COUNTER WARRANT Owner: Have a nice day! Customer: Oh, I'm sure I will. |
