My name is Phil Clark. I'm a journalism major, English language and linguistics minor, and this is my junior year. I was born and raised in Ann Arbor, and I graduated from Community High School in 2004. I transferred to Eastern from the University of Michigan last fall, and changed my major from education to journalism. I'm 21 years old and I now live in Ypsilanti.

I work a whole lot. I have two jobs: I'm the manager of the printer ink cartridge refill kiosk in Briarwood Mall in Ann Arbor; and, I valet cars for Kerby's Kerb Service, which is contracted by several local establishments, including the University of Michigan, and Barton Hills and Travis Point Country Clubs, to name a few. I work most evenings and weekends.

When I'm not at work or in school, I like to play music (specifically, the drums), relax with friends, watch stupid movies, and that kind of thing. I like all types of music (pretty much), but I most often listen to funk, classic rock, hip hop, indie rock and metal. I'm a prolific sleeper and I nap a lot, too. Personality-wise, I like to think of myself as laid-back and easy-going. I look forward to this class and to meeting you all.
