A good proposal should:
- Explain the big-picture situation, then give a statement of the problem or need that puts it into context and shows why it's complex and important.
- Clarify any important/relevant information without giving anything unnecessary.
- Propose a solution or idea and justify it.
- Be very specific about benefits of the proposal. It should give details, statistics, and/or examples.
- Show the consequences of failing to address the problem.
- Give a specific instruction for a certain type of action.
- Be addressed towards a specific audience, and be designed to relate or appeal to its specific readers.
- Be presented in a logical, easy-to-read, professional, awesome format.
