Analyzing Job Advertisements

Our exercise today will build from our analysis of discussions earlier in the term--remember when we looked at Audrey's story from the Comic Book store? We were looking at how much was being said that wasn't actually being said? The goal is to do the same thing with these job ads and company info. For each example, hunt for:

  1. Specifics about the particular job--list particular skill terms and expectations
  2. Who are they looking for--list characteristics of the desired employee

As we did with the comic shop story, in particular for number 2, you'll need to read what it's "saying without saying." Each group should gather their analysis onto a wiki page, and as we've suggested before, it's better to put together short list items than narratives on each.
